Wife, mother, writer, slightly less confident pack leader

Having spent 2.5 years living in Hanoi and learning that the universe usually knows best, we’re currently planning a move to Spain in the new year.  Enjoying being slightly itinerant and yearning for a place to call our own.  Embracing the paradoxes of modern living and home comforts with a deep need to see, experience, explore and have adventures.

I’m currently juggling the desire to trace my roots with a desire to live, live, live and I’m forever worrying that it’s all going too fast and passing me by.  Is this the curse of the modern middle class – free to live as I choose but not keen to commit to just one choice?!

Ex pat living is certainly an adventure and every day’s a new challenge, even seemingly simple tasks can turn into bureaucratic nightmares and I’m constantly reminded that I don’t know what I don’t know.  Scary and exciting at the same time!

I welcome comments, shares and feedback on any topics you’d like me to discuss.  All opinions expressed are my own and I reserve the right to change my mind 🙂
